Adeline Deysel is a native English speaker from South Africa. Adeline completed her Bachelor of Laws with distinction (cum laude) at the University of South Africa. She was a tutor at the University of South Africa (UNISA), Port Elizabeth campus. This is the same university where the late Mr. Nelson Mandela obtained his law degree. Thereafter, she established her own highly successful legal practice and specialised in Business-, Corporate-, Family- and Criminal Law. She has completed a Qualification Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language through The TEFL Academy. She further obtained a certificate in English Language Teaching (Secondary) and passed the Teaching Knowledge Test through Cambridge School of English. She in addition obtained numerous specialised certificates in the field of education.
Her teaching approach is based on the belief that language learning should be engaging and interactive. She utilises a variety of teaching strategies to ensure that students are actively involved in the learning process and are able to make meaningful connections between the language, their own lives and experiences. Adeline has a profound record of successfully conducting English lessons internationally for companies, universities, lawyers, medical specialists and other highly skilled professionals. She specialises in the usage of the English language from “small talk” and polite English, to advanced classes for legal, business, technical, and medical at A1 to C2 level English.
In addition to her teaching skills, she is an excellent communicator, able to establish positive relationships with students. The growth and success achieved by her can be attributed to her strong leadership skills, integrity and ability to set high standards in everything she pursues in life.
She was a tutor at the University of South Africa (UNISA) Port Elizabeth campus in both Criminal Law and Law of Evidence. She was in addition the motivational speaker for the University of South Africa. Her objectives for students are to remove any unassertiveness and build their confidence, improve their fluency and assist them to express themselves as naturally as a native speaker.
She is very considerate and encouraging towards all students during lessons and adapts each lesson to the requirements and expectations of the students. She does not talk down to the students, but with them.
